Course:

Teaching Times Tables with Meaning and Application (So they will WANT to learn them!)

How well do your children RECALL and APPLY their times tables facts?

Are they ‘at their fingertips’ yet?

Times tables facts are an essential tool for mathematical fluency. They ‘free up’ the brain to focus upon a problem rather than slowing it down to work out calculations.

‘Excellent delivery; engaging, informative and practical.
So many ideas to implement when I get back to school!

                           R Raja, Colebourne Primary, Birmingham

Join us for a brilliant day of training bursting with new ideas and approaches for you to use immediately with your class.

Come away with:

  • Exciting new ways to teach times tables using the highly effective ‘Concrete-Pictorial-Attract’ approach

  • How to embed times tables in exciting problem-solving (recipes, supermarkets flyers, animal facts, scaling and more!) so children see WHY these facts are so essential

  • Brilliant games and investigations which develop learners’ speed of recall and fluency without the stress of weekly tests (so they will know their facts and won’t panic when the actual test comes!)

  • Thank you for showing us HOW to change. So many courses just tell us what isn't working but not how to go about addressing this. Your approaches make so much sense!

  • Just to say thank you again for 3 really brilliant talks at SGIS. We're a small school near Basel and we’d be interested in anything you’re doing nearby (Zurich way) so please let us know!
