Session 1: Numbers Everywhere: Maximising indoor and outdoor provision to develop true number sense and calculation using meaningful daily routines and the environment including new ways of using of calendars, register, weather, classroom organisation, links with parents and more!


Session 2: Teaching Place Value and Calculation: Teaching using the ‘Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract’ approach using subitising, tens frames, rekenreks and more to ensure great progress for ALL learners!


Session 3: Using and Applying Number in Problem Solving: Using well-loved stories to teach maths in the EYFS and Key Stage 1. In this session we will apply the skills we’ve built up in sessions 1 and 2 to improve our teaching of problem solving.

Delegates should attend ALL sessions
Payment: Bookings taken by host school. Invoices sent out to individual schools after booking by Karen Wilding Education Ltd.  Payment must be received before course begins.
